Open Weekend – Trauma and Recovery.
This weekend will include psychodramas, theoretical input and processing. We will mark the tenth anniversary of the World Trade Centre attacks with an exploration of trauma and recovery. We will examine the effects of trauma on the mind, brain, body and relationships, and how psychodrama can be used safely and effectively to help people who suffer from post-traumatic stress. We will draw on the work of Dr. Kate Hudgins (The Therapeutic Spiral Model) and classical Morenean theory to address the theme of resolving trauma. Venue: Woodbridge House, Moseley, Birmingham. With Susie Taylor and Clark Baim, assisted by Chip Chimera.
This open workshop is open to everyone over age 18 (no prior experience of drama, therapy or psychodrama is required).
