This is a 3 day weekend focused on classical techniques, and is for BIP trainees only.
There are many different techniques within the psychodramatic method, and it is important for psychodramatists to have a good understanding of the techniques and their function within the psychodramatic process. This weekend will focus on some of the classic techniques, with a particular emphasis on the technique of scene-setting. We will also focus on classic techniques such as mirror, empty chair, role reversal, interview in role and surplus reality. The weekend will consist of vignettes using particular techniques, with discussion and theory on the use of each. Up to two trainees may have an external assessment of their directing.
