Offers services to the general public and to people in many areas of work including mental health, criminal justice, social services, counselling, youth work, substance misuse programmes, the public and voluntary sectors, schools and universities, therapy and helping professions, business and industry and the general public.
Practitioners and students in these and related fields are welcome to attend BIP courses and events, where they can expand their clinical and facilitation skills, gain knowledge of psychodramatic techniques and promote their professional and personal growth.
Members of the general public interested in personal growth in a safe therapeutic environment, and people who are considering training in therapy, are welcome to attend open weekends and introductory days.
BIP offers a psychotherapy diploma course, which is a post-graduate level training and takes a minimum of four years to complete on a part-time basis. There is also a nine-month certificate course for professionals who want to incorporate action methods and psychodramatic techniques into their work. In contrast to the diploma, the certificate does not qualify participants to practise as a psychodramatist.
